Dejan Peshevski looking to impress Koper

Former youth national team player Dejan Peshevski is currently on trial at Koper.

Dejan Peshevski only lasted a few months with Slovak club Podbrezová before he was released this winter. He did not play in any league game for them as his lone appearance came in a cup encounter. So, Peshevski had to look for a new team this winter.

Earlier in the week, he arrived on trial at Slovenian club Koper. He already played in one friendly on 21 January in which he scored a goal against Triglav. That match would end 1:1 with him scoring the equalizing goal. Koper’s next opponent will be Crvena Zvezda (holding camp there) in a friendly on 27 January. He should get another opportunity in that game before Koper then decides whether to offer him a contract.

Peshevski was a former youth national team player for Macedonia, but he’s no longer eligible since Dejan was born in 1993. For the next qualifying cycle, a player will need to be born in 1994 or later to be eligible for the U21 national team, 1997 or later to be eligible for the U19 national team, and so on.
