The two draws in the October qualifying matches sent the Macedonian national team down two places at today’s FIFA World Rankings.

Macedonian did gain points thanks to these draws, but only 2,1 points which was not enough to move up. The 0:0 against Belgium away was overshadowed by the unexpected 1:1 result at home against Kazakhstan. Albania, Burkina Faso and Honduras went ahead of Macedonia, while Jordan moved behind.
