Rabotnicki’s Fábio Silva is the current leading goalscorer of UEFA Europa League season 2010/11.

Rabotnicki are playing against Liverpool, Fábio Silva is the current leading goalscorer with 5 goals so far… It all seems like a nice dream. A dream that is being lived by Rabotnicki at the moment. Fábio Silva, the 26-years-old Brazilian, has so far scored 5 goals and leads the charts in UEFA Europa League. Many players are following him with 4 goals, but he is alone on first place, thanks to the 5 goals scored against Lusitanos, 2 of which in Skopje and 3 in Andorra.

Of course, it is only the beginning of Europa League and these charts will be significantly changed, but it is nice to know that representative of a Macedonian club is on top of a leading chart. Plus, Rabotnicki are to play against Liverpool. On top of all, by many marked as a surprise, Teteks eliminated last season’s Europa League group stage participant Ventspils with a convincing win in Skopje and will play against Elfsborg.

Excellent season for Macedonian teams especially if we are comparing it to the past several. Macedonian clubs have so far earned 1.375 points on UEFA country ranking list, making this season more successful then the past 2 together. Let’s hope Rabotnicki and Teteks will continue making Macedonia proud.
