Goalkeeper Darko Tofiloski did not get an opportunity to play for Košice in today’s game as his side was eliminated from the Slovak Cup.

The Košice manager opted to start Spaniard Fernando López at goalkeeper in today’s return leg against Zlaté Moravce in the Slovak Cup.  The first leg ended 2:2 with Tofiloski playing from the start and conceding two goals.  Tofiloski also started the league game this past weekend but he was the #2 keeper for today’s return leg against Zlaté Moravce on the road.

As for today’s result, Zlaté Moravce won 1:0 with Andrej Brčák scoring the only goal of the game in the 62nd minute.  Therefore, Košice was eliminated from the Slovak Cup by losing 3:2 on aggregate over the two games.  The Košice manager has been going back and forth between Tofiloski and Fernando López throughout the season so it remains to be seen who will start the next game which is scheduled for this upcoming Saturday against Dukla Banská Bystrica.
