Goran Pandev was not able to recover in time from his muscle strain injury and will miss tomorrow’s league game between Napoli and Udinese.

Napoli named a 20 men squad for tomorrow’s match against Udinese which did not include attacker Goran Pandev.  At today’s press conference, Napoli manager Walter Mazzarri said the following regarding his physical condition, “Pandev is better, much better and should join the group shortly.  The efficiency and availability will now depend on Goran and that will affect my choices moving forward.”

After tomorrow’s encounter against Udinese, Napoli’s next two games are on 29 October against Catania and then the important Champions League clash against Bayern München in Germany on 2 November.  Pandev has not played since 1 October when he sustained a muscle strain injury on his left leg in the Inter vs. Napoli game against his former team.
