Due to security fears, the Czech Republic football federation has cancelled the two U16 friendlies that were scheduled for this week.
It was announced today that the U16 youth national team of the Czech Republic will not travel to Macedonia for this week’s two scheduled friendlies. The two sides were supposed to meet on May 12 and 14, but that has now been canceled.
The reason for the cancellations was the security situation within Macedonia. The Czech federation did not want to expose their youngsters to any potential dangers, so they decided to call off both friendlies.
