The Scottish national team manager Craig Levein has described the upcoming match against Macedonia as a must win game.

Scotland disappointed its fans as they played a goalless draw against Serbia at Hampden Park, where they will also face Macedonia on Tuesday.  For manager Craig Levein there is no other option but a win.

“It probably is a must win match.  It would certainly be beneficial to win the game on Tuesday.  But, I am more confident now than I was before the match because after the Serbia match I was disappointed we didn’t win because of the chances we created.  I look at the opportunities we had to hit Serbia in the areas where we knew they were weak and I could count half a dozen times where we didn’t play a simple pass to put people through on goal.  That won’t happen again.  Our guys will improve on those things and that gives me encouragement that we are going to be better on Tuesday.” Levein was quoted on FIFA.com.

It should be an interesting game as Goran Pandev, earlier in the day, gave a similar statement that Macedonia too will strive for three points.
