Macedonia avoids suspension

Macedonian football avoids isolation and suspension by FIFA and UEFA. The old president of the Macedonian Football Federation was allowed to return in the federation only an hour before the FIFA Emergency Committee discussion for sanctions on Macedonian football because of the dual leadership in FFM.

{mosgoogle} Only on couple of hours before the suspension discussions by FIFA and UEFA, the name of Hralampie Hadzi-Risteski was written back in the Central Register of Republic of Macedonia as president of the Macedonian Football Federation.

The problems in Macedonian football mounted last month, when some of FFM delegates elected new president Emil Bozinovski, a former international football referee, but FIFA and UEFA made it clear that Haralampie Hadzi-Risteski should take the FFM's helm as legitimate president.
