Leaders Makedonija GjP defeated Vardar and will stay on the top with seven points lead in front of Milano who were defeated away to Pelister in the last round of the 2008/09 season before the winter break. The season will continue in March, 2009.
Macedonian Cup – 1/4 final
Rabotnicki, Makedonija, Milano and second league side Shkendija will play in the Macedonian Cup semi finals. Title holders Rabotnicki eliminated Renova in the most interesting duel, while Shkendija made the surprise by eliminating Pelister.
Macedonian First League – Round 17
Vardar's and Pelister's slump to another match without a win and the good winning form by Rabotnicki and Milano, marked the round 17 from the Macedonian first football league.
Macedonian First League – Round 16
Vardar's fifth match without a win, but this time after the four draws they were defeated at home by Milano with 2:4 and the seven red cards on the other four matches, have marked round 16 of the Macedonian first league.
Macedonian Cup – 1/4 final
Renova and Rabotnicki played a goalless draw while Milano almost secured the placement in the semi-final after the first leg matches of the Macedonian cup 1/4 finals.
Macedonian First League – Round 15
With the 1:1 against Renova, Vardar continued the row of five draws, while reigning champions Rabotnicki and leaders Makedonija GjP earned easy three points with their wins over Pelister and Sileks in the 15th round of the Macedonian first league.
Macedonian 2nd League – Round 15
Teteks destroyed Ohrid away at Biljanini Izvori with 6:1 in the derby of the 15th round. Sloga Jugomagnat kept the first place with the away win in Negotino, Belasica and Shkendija also won, Drita suffered another defeat, this time against Miravci, while Bregalnica Stip failed to beat Cementarnica 55.
Macedonian 2nd League – Round 14
The 14th round was a marked by the home teams. Seven of eight matches finished with a win of the home team. In the derby of the round, Bregalnica in Stip beat Shkendija HB from Tetovo with 2:0. Sloga Jugomagnat beat Ohrid with 1:0, while only Miravci came home with a point as they managed

In an interesting and tensed match with not much of effective play, the biggest Macedonian football rivals Pelister and Vardar shared the points with a goalless draw in the round 14 of the Macedonian first football league.

Leaders Makedonija continued their good performances on the stadium in Gjorce Petrov with the 2:0 win over reigning champions Rabotnicki on the derby of the 13th round from the Macedonian first league.
