With the close of the summer transfer window, here is a recap of activity among the Macedonian clubs in the First League.

Cup holders Renova will face 11 Oktomvri, while the highest profile clashes of the 1/8 finals will be Shkendija – Bregalnica and Metalurg – Horizont Turnovo.

Central midfielder Stefan Spirovski will spend the next 6 months as a loaned player with Rabotnichki.

Turnovo continued its good form with a win over Metalurg, Vardar defeated Renova on the road, Napredok and Rabotnichki won narrowly with one goal margins, while Bregalnica Shtip and Shkendija shared the points in a goalless draw.

The fourth round of the Macedonian First League takes place in the midweek period with five games on Wednesday and one more on Thursday.

Shkendija won against Metalurg in the derby of the round, while Pelister got past Bregalnica for their first win of the season.

Gostivar destroyed Vrapchiste, Makedonija GjP, Miravci and Skopje snatched three points, while Tikvesh collected a point away to Gorno Lisiche.

A derby clash in Tetovo between Shkendija and Metalurg and Vardar taking on Teteks are some of the games on tap for this weekend.

Stunning eliminations for Rabotnichki and Napredok, Teteks, Pelister, Turnovo and Gorno Lisiche won convincingly, while reigning cup champions Renova barely got past Poeshevo.

Round 2 of the First League concluded today with three more matches.  Napredok stunned Vardar 1:0, proving that the defending champions are beatable.
