Bojan Gjorgievski signed with BATE Borisov

Bojan Gjorgievski (in the middle) Full back Bojan Gjorgievski has signed a contract with the defending league champions of Belarus, BATE Borisov.

Bojan Gjorgievski has signed a three year contract with BATE Borisov, the current champions of Belarus.  Gjorgievski is a talented right-back that used to be a regular member of the Macedonian U19 national team.  He was born on 25.01.1992 and grew up in the Vardar youth system.  Prior to the season of 2011/12, he moved from Vardar to in-city rivals Metalurg before joining BATE Borisov today for his first international transfer of his career.

BATE Borisov is the defending champion of Belarus and played in the group stages of this season’s Champions League.  However, they finished in last place of Group H with only 2 points after they drew games against Viktoria Plzeň and Milan.  That group also included Spanish giants Barcelona.  BATE Borisov is currently the best team in Belarus as they have won the league title for six consecutive years.  According to the official website of BATE, Gjorgievski was invited to join their training camp in Spain and after convincing the club of his qualities, he was offered a contract which Bojan accepted.
