Captain Enis Bardhi will miss the upcoming friendly matches against Bosnia-Herzegovina and Türkiye due to an injury.

Bardhi showed up injured at the national team gathering and the medical team concluded that he is not match fit. As these matches are friendlies, it is not necessary to risk a serios injury, so Bardhi dropped out of the squad.

Macedonia on Thursday morning departs for Sarajevo where on Friday night will face Bosnia-Herzegovina. On Saturday the team heads for Istanbul where on Monday will play against Türkiye.

Bardhi has 82 caps for Macedonia and shared the 7th place in the all time list. With 20 goals scored he is 3rd all time goalscorer in the national team.
