Bardhi drops out for Croatia and Czechia due to injury

Macedonian captain Enis Bardhi, due to an injury sustained in the last match for his Trabzonspor, is not able to make himself available to the national team for the upcoming friendlies against Croatia and Czechia.

FFM informed that Bardhi suffered a sprain of the ligaments on the right shoulder joint, an injury sustained in the match of the last round of the Turkish Super League in which his Trabzonspor won 4:2 over Ankaragücü, in which he had to leave the field in the 71st minute due to the injury, which apparently prevented him from taking part of the preparations and the matches that follow.

“Enis Bardhi has already started rehabilitation, but unfortunately he is not able to be part of the Macedonian team for the matches on June 3 in Rijeka against Croatia and on June 10 against Czechia in Hradec Králové,” FFM informed.

Coach Blagoja Milevski, at least until this moment, will not call an additional player as a replacement for Bardhi.

Today the national team held two training sessions at the Petar Milosevski Training Center in Novo Lisice, but it was incomplete. From tomorrow, with the arrival of Gjoko Zajkov, Stole Dimitrievski, Aleksandar Trajkovski and Jani Atanasov, the training session is expected to be in full squad.
