Ivan Trickovski continued his good form into 2012 with a nice goal but his side APOEL suffered a disappointing 2:1 road loss against Nikola Gligorov and Alki.

Attacker Ivan Trickovski played all 90 minutes for APOEL in today’s road game against Alki.  Ivan scored a quick goal in the 3rd minute with a nice shot from a tight angle.  Trickovski’s low shot hit the inside of the left goal post before it reached the back of the net.  Ivan had another solid chance during the game but his powerful shot in the 48th minute, from the edge of the area, struck the crossbar before going for a goal kick.

This was Trickovski’s fifth goal of the season for APOEL who suffered a disappointing loss against Alki by conceding the game winning goal in the third minute of stoppage time in the 90th minute.  For the home side Alki, Nikola Gligorov got the start in midfield and also played the entire game.  However, the hero for Alki was Arnal Conde who scored both goals to help the home side defeat APOEL.
