Dzelil Abdula scored his first competitive goal for De Graafschap during today’s Dutch Cup game against De Treffers.
Dzelil Abdula started on the bench for De Graafschap before he entered the game in the 67th minute replacing Ted van de Pavert. His club was leading 4:1 at the time of the substitution against a team from the Dutch third division in De Treffers. In the 77th minute, Abdula made it 5:1 to score his first competitive goal in a De Graafschap uniform. That was also the final goal of the game as De Graafschap advanced to the next round of the Dutch Cup.
The 20-year-old Abdula played at LB during his 23 minutes on the field. He originally joined De Graafschap earlier in the summer from the defending league champions in Macedonia, Shkendija. Abdulla is also a member of the Macedonian U21 national team.
