Kristijan “Kiko” Naumovski kept a clean sheet for Dinamo Bucureşti during today’s 5:0 win over Gaz Metan Severin in the Romanian Cup.
Kristijan Naumovski has only made two appearances for Dinamo Bucureşti this season, both in domestic cup matches. Several weeks ago, he kept a clean sheet in a 1:0 win against a team from the lower Romanian divisions and then kept another clean sheet during today’s domestic cup game against second division side Gaz Metan Severin.
Otherwise, Naumovski has not featured in a league game this season. He is either the #2 keeper behind Cristian Bălgrădean or not even called up when veteran George Curcă is preferred for the backup keeper position. For today’s cup game, Bălgrădean was rested and the manager gave Naumovski the nod over Curcă. Dinamo Bucureşti recorded a comfortable 5:0 victory over Gaz Metan Severin and easily advanced to the quarter-finals of the Romanian Cup.
