Shkendija kept up with Metalurg in the race for second place by defeating Horizont Turnovo 2:1 in the only game that was played today.
Shkendija and Horizont Turnovo completed the 25th round of the first league today. Shkendija celebrated a 2:1 win and ensured a perfect round for the home teams as all six games ended in three points for the home teams.
Central defender Sedat Berisha and midfielder Oliver Peev scored the goals for Shkendija, one in each half, to hand the club three points. Dragan Gjorgiev pulled one goal back in the 69th minute to reduce the deficit but Horizont Turnovo could not get any closer and the score would finish 2:1.
With this win, Shkendija has 50 points, one less then second placed Metalurg and thirteen points behind Vardar, while Horizont Turnovo remains in the 10th position with 23 points.
