The Macedonian U17 national team noted one win and a loss in the two friendlies played against their Hungarian counterparts.
Last month, the youth national teams of Macedonia and Hungary played two friendlies in Macedonia and the two federations agreed to play two friendlies in April as well, this time in Hungary. Macedonia U17 and Hungary U17 played the two friendlies in the past three days in the Hungarian village of Telki. The first encounter, played on the 10th of April, resulted in a 2:1 loss for Macedonia U17 with the only goal being scored by Tihomir Fidanoski in the 25th minute. That was the opening goal of the game but Hungary U17 then managed to score two goals and recorded a come from behind victory. In the second friendly played today, however, Macedonia got some revenge and won 1:0 with the lone goal being scored by Taulant Sulejmanov in the 52nd minute.
