U21: road friendly against Slovenia on March 30

Macedonia U21 has scheduled a friendly game on the 30th of March against Slovenia.

The U21 national team of Macedonia has arranged one last test game before the start of the new qualifying campaign in June. The boys will travel to Slovenia to face their peers and help coach Blagoja Milevski have one last look before the qualifiers.

The last time Macedonia faced Slovenia was in 2011 when the young Macedonians celebrated a narrow win, while a year before Slovenia trashed Macedonia 5:1.

Milevski said the following about this friendly, “Being our first gathering in 2015, the game against Slovenia will be a preparation match for the upcoming EURO qualifiers. I will mostly summon players that were used in the last friendlies against Romania and Montenegro. Now, guys like Daniel Avramovski, Dejan Iliev and Kire Markoski missed those games due to injuries, so they will be added if they are healthy. I believe in my players, this generation can match anybody. Games like this one against Slovenia can only be of huge benefit for us prior to the qualifiers.”
