Zlatko Tanevski (R) has joined VardarDefender Zlatko Tanevski signed an 18 month deal with Vardar after he recently terminated his contract with Polish side GKS Bełchatów.

Versatile defender Zlatko Tanevski who recently terminated his contract with GKS Bełchatów has returned to Vardar.  Tanevski plays as a defender and was deployed at center back, left back, and right back during his time with the Polish club.

Zlatko spent the past five years in Poland as before GKS Bełchatów, he played for Lech Poznań.  Prior to his journey in Poland, he was a member of Vardar where he played 44 matches in 2 seasons.  He will now return to Macedonia and strengthen Vardar for the second half of the season.

Zlatko Tanevski has been capped once for the Macedonian national team in a friendly against China in December of 2010.  The 28-year-old defender is surely one of the better signings for Vardar.  The club tested a lot of foreign players but with a rule in place that no more then five foreigners can feature in the starting line-up, Vardar needed to target quality Macedonian players.

The deal with Jovan Kostovski is also close to being finalized.  The transfer window closes on the 31st of January before Vardar then travels to a training camp to be held in Antalya, Turkey on 2 February.
