Heavy defeat for Macedonian women U19 national team on the start of the qualifications for European Championship.
Macedonian women U19 national team had no better luck then the ‘A’ team yesterday and also noted a heavy defeat. Scotland were Macedonia’s first opponent in the European Championship qualifying matches. The match was played today in Strumica and Scotland won convincingly – 0:7. Macedonia only managed to defend for 30 minutes and then the goals galore started, with the last goal being scored in 92nd minute.
Macedonia played the match with the following line-up: Arsova, Shabani, Tapovska, Veselinova, Saltirova (71′ Todorovska), Mitrevska (62′ Adjuleska), Kokalovska, Stojkovska, Ristovska, Jakovska, Adili (81′ Gjosheva).
The next match is scheduled in two days and Macedonia will face Romania who have defeated Georgia today 5:2.
