Shkendija defeated Vardar 3:1 in the derby of the round, Renova held Bregalnica to a draw, Pelister dropped the win in the last second against Napredok.
Shkendija defeated Vardar convincingly in the derby of the round. The Tetovo based club managed to celebrate a 3:1 victory over the reigning champions and finally prove they are capable of achieving things this season. This defeat might be Milevski’s last match as Vardar manager as his position was already insecure.
As for the match, it seemed like everything was decided in the first 10 minutes. First Jasir Selmani opened the scoreline in the 5th minute after he collected a ball in the box, then 5 minutes later Nedjipi doubled the home team lead. Vardar had several chances to lower the lead but it was Shkendija who scored again, their third goal was courtesy of Nuhiu. Vardar only managed to score a consolation goal through Ademović. In the end, Shkendija finished the match with 10 men after Cuculi was sent off.
Pelister dropped two points in the last second of the match against Napredok in Kichevo. After an uneventful first half with no serious chances except for some long shots, the second half brought much more excitement. Pelister took the lead first through Kitanovski who has used a great cross from Milenkovski to head the ball home and gave his team the lead. However, Napredok players did not gave up and had several opportunities before Cvetanoski headed K. Stepanovski’s cross over Pashovski and into the net. At that point Pelister’s players were not content with the scoreline and pushed for second goal and three points. Marjan Altiparmakovski was fouled in the box and Bulgarian Lyubomir Lyubenov successfully converted the penalty into goal. As the match was about to end and Pelister’s fans were already celebrating the win and Pelister climbing to top of the table, Mojsovski was the fastest to react in a big crowd inside Pelister’s box and managed to equalize the score in literally the last second of the match, salvaging a point for his team.
Metalurg got to the three points harder then expected against Gorno Lisiche. Radeski opened the scoreline, but Aleksandar Stojanovski set the score straight and Metalurg had to rely on defender Risto Mitrevski for the game-winning goal and a final score of 2:1.
Leaders Bregalnica were held to a scoreless draw in Shtip against Renova, while on the match between two promoted teams, Gostivar lost at home against Makedonija Gjorche Petrov 0:1 with the lone goal scored by Fahrudin Gjurgjevikj.
