Velhan Cvetanoski continues at Lagarto

The Brazilian-Macedonian striker is back in his native country as he will continue his career with Lagarto.

Velhan Cvetanoski, the 26-year-old striker who played for Pobeda, Cementarnica 55, Teteks, and Vardar earlier in his career, has returned to Brazil.  He signed a contract with Lagarto, a team that competes in the regional leagues.

Cvetanoski was born in São Paulo to Macedonian parents and as a teenager, he signed for the local club Portuguesa Santista.  However, in 2009, he came to the land of his parents as Cvetanoski signed with Pobeda from Prilep.  He was known as the Macedonian Kaká due to his resemblance in looks with the Brazilian footballer Ricardo Kaká.
