Ivan Trickovski played all 90 minutes for APOEL in the first leg of his team’s matchup against Lyon in the Champions League Round of 16. Trickovski started on the left wing but spent a lot of time tracking back as APOEL fielded a defensive minded formation. APOEL’s lone shot on goal came in the 88th minute but with a slim 1:0 loss, the club will have a chance to turn it around in the return leg on 7 March in Nicosia, Cyprus.

Goran Pandev started on the bench for Napoli before he entered the game in the 77th minute replacing fellow attacker Ezequiel Lavezzi. Napoli snapped a five game winless streak in Serie A action with a comfortable home victory over Chievo.
Cyprus, Coca Cola Cup, AE Paphos – Alki 0:6
Nikola Gligorov played the entire game for Alki and scored the fourth goal for his team in the 51st minute. Alki collected an easy 8:0 aggregate victory against AE Paphos over the two games and advanced to the next round of the Cypriot Cup.

Igor Mitreski did not play for Neftçi because of a red card suspension while his teammate Slavco Georgievski got the start and played until the 80th minute when he was replaced by Javid Imamverdiyev. Georgievski provided the assist on the second goal for Neftçi in the 49th minute with a nice pass over the top to striker Bahodir Nasimov who then scored past the opposing keeper.

Muarem Muarem made his debut for Qarabağ by starting on the bench before he came on in the 69th minute replacing Bakhtiyar Soltanov while his teammate Nderim Nedzipi was not called up.

Zoran Baldovaliev started for Al-Qadisiyah and played until the 54th minute when he was replaced by Fahad Al-Doseri. Baldovaliev played against his former team Najran but did not have much luck as the visiting club, managed by Gjoko Hadzievski, celebrated a victory.
