During the upcoming international break, Vardar has scheduled a friendly against CSKA Sofia to be played in Bulgaria.
After Metalurg last month, another Macedonian club will face Bulgarian club CSKA Sofia in a friendly. This time it will be Vardar as they will take on CSKA on 8 October 2011 at the Bulgarian Army stadium in Sofia. The match will start at 15:30 CET.
In a friendly played last month, also because of the international break, CSKA celebrated a comfortable 3:0 victory over Metalurg. Both Metalurg and Vardar currently have 20 points in the Macedonian top division so we will see how Vardar does against CSKA.
Bulgarian media reported that CSKA initially wanted to face Fenerbahçe in the friendly but the Turkish club did not agree to the offer so CSKA will now take on Vardar in the friendly.
