Vardar exit Conference League with disaster in Lausanne (Video)

After the win in Skopje Vardar’s dreams were brutally put to rest by Lausanne in the return leg tonight in Switzerland.

The beginning did not promise a bad day for Vardar, even after conceding the opening goal by Noë Dussenne in the 16th minute Vardar continued to play and just a minute later could have equalized when Rogers Mato’s shot was saved by Letica, Azer Omeragikj on the rebound hit the keeper from close range, while the new rebound reached Georgije Jankulov who missed the target.

When Mamadou Kaly Sène doubled the lead in the 33rd minute it was clear that it would be a tough match for a come back for Vardar. In the injury time of the opening half the same player scored again for a comfortable 3:0 lead.
