The new season in the Macedonian top flight begins on Friday, 8 August, with two derby matches. The opening round matches will be played on Saturday, Sunday and Monday as well, the Football Federation of Macedonia has determined.

The season will open in Tetovo, where at 17.00 CET the current champion Shkëndija will host Shkupi.

Just a few hours later, in Skopje, eternal rivals Vardar and Pelister will meet at the National Arena Todor Proeski in the Derby of Macedonia. The kick-off for this football classic is scheduled for 20:00 CET.
