23 years old defender, Vance Sikov, signed a two years contract with Cypriot side AS Ethnikos Achnas. Sikov has 1 cap for the Macedonian national team and is in Srečko Katanec’s roster for the next qualification matches.
Sikov, who is born on 19th of July 1985 in the city of Kavadarci, started his career at local club FK Tikves Kavadarci. As still very young he moved to Greece where he played for PAE A.O. Skoda Xanthi, PAE A.O. Kerkyra and PAE Apollon Kalamarias. After his good plays in Greece, he signed a contract with giants PAE Olympiacos S.F.P., but never played a game for them and instead he was loaned out in other Greek clubs. He made a short brake and got back in Macedonia to play for FK Pobeda Prilep, but shortly he moved back to Greece.
He wont have any troubles with acomodation in Cyprus as he speaks the Greek language very good. Sikov made his debut for Macedonia on the friendly match against Nigeria in Skopje that finished in a goalless draw. Before that, he was regular for the U-21 national team.
