After missing the previous game because of a yellow cards suspension, Vance Sikov returned for Volyn and was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet.

Vance Sikov started at CB and played all 90 minutes for Volyn in today’s 1:0 win over Arsenal Kyiv.  Sikov also played a part in the lone goal of the game which was scored in the 85th minute.  Vance took a free kick from long range which struck the wall and the ball then reached one of his teammates whose cross from the left fell to Goeber who sent his header past the opposing keeper.

With the win, Volyn temporarily moved to 10th place with 15 points while Arsenal Kyiv remained in 4th place with 23 points after 14 rounds in the Ukrainian top division.  Vance has now made 13 appearances for Volyn this season and has played every minute in those games for a total of 1170 minutes.  He only missed last week’s game because of a yellow cards suspension.
