Antonio Stankov broke his metatarsal

Midfielder Antonio Stankov will be out for some time after he broke his metatarsal while on duty with the Macedonian U21 national team.

The injury occurred on 7 October during the U21 qualifier between Macedonia and Serbia.  FC Oss, the current club of Stankov, announced on their website that Stankov broke his metatarsal during that game and will be out for some time.

A metatarsal fracture is a common injury in football.  However, the recovery time varies differently for each player.  It depends whether the player in question is a fast healer but most players usually miss over a month with a broken metatarsal.
