Norwegian side Vålerenga decided not to sign defender Jasmin Mecinovik who was on trial with the club.

Jasmin Mecinovik featured in one friendly for Vålerenga this past Saturday which the club lost 5:0 against København.  Mecinovik played until the 77th minute of that game.  Vålerenga was losing 3:0 at the time of the substitution with København adding two more goals before the end of the match.

Both trial players, Mecinovik and Efosa Ona, were not offered contracts.  Vålerenga’s manager Martin Andresen told the club’s official website, “We made an overall assessment of each player and decided that we will not offer them a contract at this time.”
