Valadzko & Kislyak comment on Macedonia game

The two Belarus national team players gave their thoughts about the upcoming EURO qualifier on Friday.

Left back Maksim Anatolevich Valadzko, who plays for BATE, and defensive midfielder Syarhey Viktaravich Kislyak of Russian side Rubin commented about Friday night’s 2016 EURO qualifier between their Belarus and the home team Macedonia.

Valadzko: “Our chances to reach the EURO championships is practically lost. But still, we will do our best in the rest of the games. We have to prove to ourselves that we are worth something. We face a difficult and strong opponent. Macedonia isn’t weaker than us. That is well shown by the last FIFA rankings in which we are close to each other.”

Kislyak: “I know only one thing about this Balkan team. Against Slovakia they looked very good. They created many chances but well, they failed to score. Still, they left a good impression. They are good in their attacking line. We have to go out there and play our game. I don’t look at the Group standings nor the FIFA rankings. I know one thing: our team can match anyone, so we can beat the Macedonians.”

Both expressed their opinion for Belarusian website Football.by.
