UEFA Regions’ Cup: Macedonia – Hestrefors 7:0

South-East Macedonia cruised to a convincing win over Hestrefors from Sweden in the UEFA Regions’ Cup.

South-East Macedonia collected its second win in two games after beating Hestrefors 7:0 in the UEFA Regions’ Cup.  Although the score was only 1:0 at halftime, Macedonia stepped it up after the break by scoring six additional goals.  Substitute Bozhinovski along with the starter Kjeleshoski each scored a brace with the latter also missing a penalty in the first half.  The other three goals were netted by Koteski, Tashkov and Petrovski.

South-East Macedonia: Mirseloski, Nikodinoski, Kotevski, Tanevski, Stojchevski, Ristevski, Kjeleshoski, Dehari (33′ Karcheski), Tashkov, Petrovski (59′ Bozhinovski), Popovski (73′ Cvetanov).

Goalscorers: Koteski 26′, Petrovski 46, Tashkov 63′, Bozhinovski 75′, 77′, Kjeleshoski 83′, 86′.

In the other match of the round, the Eastern Region of Northern Ireland also noted its second win after winning 2:1 against North Wales.

In the third and last round, Macedonia faces the Eastern Region of Northern Ireland on 3 September for a match that will determine who finishes in first place.  Macedonia needs at least a draw to ensure advancement, although they can also advance as the best runner-up in the event that they lose the game on Monday.
