U21 national team manager Boban Babunski announced the squad for the last two matches of the EURO 2013 qualifications.

Twenty players were summoned for the last two qualifying games against Northern Ireland and Serbia, both on the road.  Stefan Ristovski is out of the squad due to an injury that he sustained on Friday.  The sprained ankle forced him to miss out on Bari’s game against Ascoli which took place yesterday.  Also missing from the squad is attacker Ilija Nestorovski from Metalurg who was surprisingly left out by Babunski.

“The possibility that we can get into the play-offs in the last two matches shows that we did well in these qualifications.  We will continue our initiation to continue the solid play and good results, and to select and foster talented players who will have the potential to play for the senior national team.  Although six U21 players have already found their place among the senior squad recently, we are convinced that there are another 7-8 new players who can do the same in the near future.” – Boban Babunski said on FFM’s official web site.
