Both Macedonian internationals playing in Israel, Darko Tasevski and Hristijan Kirovski, scored their first league goals for their new Israeli teams during league action today.
Darko Tasevski reached the back of the net for the defending Israeli champion Ironi Kiryat Shmona. In the 54th minute of today’s game, with Ironi Kiryat Shmona trailing 1:0 on the road to Maccabi Haifa, Tasevski scored with a left footed shot from around 20 meters to level the score. Darko was eventually substituted in the 72nd minute by fellow midfielder Wiyall Marisat. Ironi Kiryat Shmona added two more goals in the 75th and 81st minute to notch the 1:3 road victory.
The other Macedonian international in Israel, striker Hristijan Kirovski, also scored his first league goal for Ironi Nir Ramat HaSharon in a 3:1 home win over Hapoel Acre. Kirovski played the entire game and scored a beautiful bicycle kick goal in the 66th minute to give his team a 2:1 lead at that time. Ironi Nir Ramat HaSharon would add one more goal to cement the 3:1 victory.
