Drita scored three own goals in its defeat to Renova, Shkendija destroyed Rabotnichki, while Pelister and Metalurg got past Napredok and Bregalnica Shtip, respectively.
Stunning match in Bogovinje! The home team Drita scored three own goals in the first half, handing Renova a 3:0 lead at the break. Drita did manage to net two goals in the 2nd half, but Renova took the home points when Vulnet Emini scored the lone goal credited to a Renova player for a 4:2 victory.
Shkendija proved a hostile host to Rabotnichki, easily winning 5:1. Shkendija continued to expose the Rabotnichki defense who has now conceded 14 goals in just five league games. For Shkendija, Izair Emini scored a brace while Ertan Demiri, Muzafer Ejupi and Artim Polozhani added one goal apiece in the easy victory.
Pelister once again got 3 points although they played with no fans on the stadium. Aleksandar Veljanovski’s strong shot in the 25th minute saw some deflection in the box and ended behind Pashovski’s goal giving the home team a 1:0 lead. In the second half Napredok played bravely, Bocheski throwing all on the attack. Pelister focused on defending the lead and playing through counter attacks. In the dying minutes of the match, Toni Veljanoski stole a ball in his own half, ran through whole pitch, passed to Anastasov, the ball reached Glacevski who returned it to T. Veljanoski once again. Although he could have shot, Veljanoski decided to pass it to Ristevski who was unmarked in the box and made no mistake, setting the final score of 2:0 for the hosts.
After a goalless first half, Metalurg and Bregalnica Shtip combined for three goals after the break, the former winning 2:1. Metalurg captain Mile Krstev opened the scoring in the 48th minute before Ivan Mitrov equalizer for the visitors thirteen minutes later. Recent Metalurg signing Goran Maznov, a former Macedonian national team player, then scored the game winner in the 72nd minute to hand the home side all three points.
Vardar hosts the current table leaders Horizont Turnovo later today, while Sileks and Teteks, the two teams without a point, face one another tomorrow to close the round.
