Macedonia’s and Bulgaria’s U21 national teams played friendly today in Sandanski, Bulgaria which ended in a scoreless draw.
In front of 700 fans and at 30 degrees Celsius, as Bulgarian website gong.bg reports, the match was pretty even. Aleksandar Stankov had a chance for Macedonia in 15th minute, but his shot finished high, while Nestorovski hit the post from free-kick in 21st minute.
In the second half, the match slowed down, mainly because of many substitutions. Towards the end of the match both teams received one red card. Nestorovski got his second yellow at 70th, while Mecev did the same thing 10 minutes later.
