FFM decided! There is no extension of the First League, Pelister and Vardar are second-league clubs.

On a meeting today, which was not previously announced, the board of directors of FFM has brought a decision that the league will stay with 12 teams in the next season.

Their explanation was that a decision for extension of league on such a short notice is not according to the stature. Extension can now only happen for season 2012/13.

Therefore, Vardar and Pelister, two of the most famous Macedonian football clubs will have to compete in Second League from next season.
