The Macedonian U19 national team suffered a heavy 7:0 defeat against their counterparts from Romania.

In a friendly match played today in the Romanian town of Giurgiu, Macedonia U19 suffered a heavy defeat against the hosts.  The final score was 7:0 for Romania in one of the most lopsided losses for the Macedonian U19 national team.  Romania led 4:0 at halftime and added three more goals in the 2nd half in a match that was played at the Marin Anastasovici stadium in Romania.  The U19 national team was led by Mensur Jakupi, who was recently the manager of the Macedonian U17 coach but did not achieve any notable results.  Regardless, he was somehow promoted and was in charge of today’s heavy beating at the hands of Romania.

Macedonia U19 will have a chance to redeem themselves as these two youth national teams play another friendly on Thursday at the same stadium in Giurgiu, Romania.
