Second division side Gostivar surprisingly defeated Renova in the first match of the 1/8 cup finals.

Renova and Gostivar (formerly known as Rinija) started the 1/8 cup final matches today.  Although favorites, Renova was surprised at home by Gostivar who celebrated a narrow 0:1 win with the only goal of the game being scored by veteran Darko Savevski.

The return leg is scheduled for 28.09.  Renova will need to play a lot better on the road or risk being eliminated from the competition.
