The Macedonian U17 national team will play two friendlies against their counterparts from Italy, both to be played on the road.
The U17 begins with the preparations for the EURO qualifications that will begin in October. The first two games will be played against Italy U17 on 12 and 13 February in Viareggio and Coverciano, respectively. It will be two good tests against strong opposition for U17 national team coach Bobi Stojkoski to see what the Macedonian youngsters are capable of.

Macedonia U17 has already arranged other friendlies as well. In March, they will play against Albania, while in May they will participate in the Josip Katalinski tournament in Croatia. Later in that month they will also face Bosnia-Herzegovina, while in June they will square up against Romania. Those matches will all be used as preparation for the upcoming U17 qualification cycle that gets underway in October. Macedonia U17 finds itself in a strong qualifying group with the likes of France, England and the host country Cyprus.
