Striker Filip Petkovski currently finds himself on trial with Sūduva, a club from Lithuania.
Sūduva may be a familiar name football enthusiasts in Macedonia as that was the club that played Horizont Turnovo in the first qualifying round of the 2013-14 Europa League. Turnovo barely managed to get past Sūduva in that matchup on penalty kicks.
Now, Sūduva has decided to hand a trial to a Macedonian player in striker Filip Petkovski, who last played for Teteks in the Macedonian Second League. Before Teteks, Petkovski has played for various other teams within Macedonia, some of which include Turnovo and Rabotnichki.
Sūduva is currently in Cyprus for their winter training camp. Petkovski is expected to play in the upcoming friendly on 2 February before Sūduva decides whether to extend an offer to Filip. Besides Petkovski, Serbian player Milos Kovačević is also on trial with Sūduva.
