The Macedonian U17 national team won against their Bulgarian counterparts on penalties after the match ended 1:1 in regulation.

The Macedonian U17 national team is currently participating in a UEFA Development Tournament in Serbia and played their first match today.  In the semi-final of the tournament, the team faced Bulgaria U17 and celebrated a 4:3 victory in the penalty shootout after it was 1:1 at the conclusion of regulation.  The only goal for Macedonia was scored by Teodor Fidanovski in the 10th minute.

Thus, Macedonia reached the final where they will face Serbia who defeated Albania 2:0 in the other semi-final matchup.  The final against Serbia will take place on Friday at 15:30 CET.
