U16 friendly: Macedonia – Slovakia 1:3

The young Macedonians were defeated by their Slovak counterparts in the first of the two arranged friendlies.

Defeat for the U16 national team of Macedonia in the first of the two friendly games against Slovakia. The visitors took over the lead after only 13 minutes of play and went on half time with a lone goal lead. The young Slovaks controlled the game and practically never allowed Macedonia to come close to scoring in the first half. eventually the young Lynx scored from their first opportunity just 5 minutes after the break when Boban Zdravevski scored. Still, Slovakia was the better side and added two more goals in order to celebrate a 3:1 win.
