Australian national team manager Angelos Postecoglou announced the squad for their upcoming friendlies against Macedonia and Germany.
Ange summoned 23 players for their European tour. 18 of them were part of the team that became champions at the 2015 AFC Asian Cup, while 3 are hoping to make their debut (Tarek Elrich, Luke DeVere and Christopher Ikonomidis). Australia will be without retired the Mark Bresciano and injured Christopher Herd and Robbie Kruse. No Australian-Macedonians were selected.

The popular Socceroos will first face Germany on the 25th of this month in Kaiserslautern, and five days later they will arrive in Skopje for the clash with Macedonia. The game will be played at the National Arena Philip II of Macedon, kick-off scheduled for 21.00 CET.
