He managed 9 goals for his national team. Also, he was part of the team that faced and beat Macedonia 2:0 in a friendly last year. Meanwhile, he wasn’t called up for the other friendly that Macedonia and Cameroon played back in February of 2011 i Skopje.

Idrissou has had a lengthy European career, playing mostly in Germany with the likes of FSV Frankfurt, Wehen, Hannover 96, Duisburg, Freiburg, Borussia Mönchengladbach, Eintracht Frankfurt and Kaiserslautern. He made a total of 139 Bundesliga appearances plus 164 in the 2.Bundesliga with a scoring record of 27 and 68 goals, respectively.
