Goalkeeper Darko Tofiloski signed a contract extension with Košice on Tuesday, bringing an end to transfer speculation surrounding his name.

Darko Tofiloski was supposed to be on trial at Sparta Praha in the coming days, but that has now been canceled as the Macedonian goalkeeper signed an extension with Košice.  The new deal will keep Tofiloski in a Košice uniform until 31 December 2014.

Košice is a club that competes in the Slovak top division.  They are a middle of the pack type of club.  Tofiloski moved there in the summer of 2010, and has been a regular mainstay in the starting lineup.  He has made 108 league appearances in which he has conceded 131 goals.

Tofiloski recently turned 28 years old and has also been capped once by the senior national team of Macedonia, coming in a friendly against Norway this past June.
