Three more players left Renova

The three internationals from Kosovo, Faruk Statovci, Fisnik Gashi, and Samir Sahiti, mutually terminated their contracts with Renova.

According to lajmpress.com, Statovci (32) and Gashi (31) left Renova because the club’s board wanted the team to concentrate on playing younger players, while Sahiti (23) didn’t convince the club of hiss qualities as he did not score a goal in 10 games (played all 90 minutes in each game).

“We thank Statovci, Gashi, and Sahiti for all of their efforts over the past few years.  The contract termination has been accepted well by both sides.  Our goal is to focus on giving more playing time to some of our younger players for the remainder of the season.  We will also look to find adequate reinforcements in any position of need.” – Lirim Saiti, one of the club’s directors, told LajmPress.

Statovci, Gashi and Sahiti will likely return to Kosovo to play for Drenica.  Meanwhile, defender Sasko Ristov extended his contract with Renova.
