Eventually the Tetovo based club signed new players as well, on the very last day of the winter transfer window. They brought in 6 players, two of them being goalkeepers.

Earlier this year Teteks was left without 4 of its players. Goalie Saljadin Mustafi left the club to join local rivals Shkendija as a back-up keeper, but his transfer failed and could not return to Tetesk as they had already signed two keepers. 18-year-old striker Mario Stankovski ended his loan and returned to Rabotnichki), while 34-year-old defender Daniel Jovanovski was forced to retired as he could not play regularly anymore due to an old ankle injury. The last who departed is 23-year-old attacking midfielder Irfan Abazi who few days ago joined Shemshova, a team that competes in the 4.MFL Tetovo.

Before adding new players, Teteks made managerial changes. Former club legend Miroslav Jakovlevikj was hired as new main coach with Jovica Knezhevikj as his assistant. Jakovlevikj wore the white Teteks top for 12 seasons plus 5 years used to be part of the coaching staff.

To substitute the departed players and strengthen the team in the same time, the Textilers brought in 6 newcomers. The two goalkeepers are Ferat Ramani (23) and Petar Mitev (20). The first comes from promotion candidates Gostivar, while the later from relegation rivals Lokomotiva. Both weren’t first choices in their clubs during the first half-season. Ramani played few games including a great performance against Teteks away when with his spectacular saves Gostivar took the points keeping a clean sheet. Mitev was a third choice at Lokomotiva. However, both will most probably be back-up keepers to Borjan Panchevski.

Milan Chichevski is a 22-year-ol defensive midfielder. He fought for the colors of Borec last half-season while previously he has played for Vardar Negotino, Gorno Lisiche and Metalurg. If necessary, he can also fill in as central defender.

Midfielder Besar Akiki (23) comes from 3.MFL West side Drita. He practically returns to Teteks as he started his career there before moving to Gostivar and later Drita.

Valjmir Jonuzi (23) can feature as attacking midfielder or winger. He comes from Makedonija GjP where he played exactly one year. He has also been part of Sileks, Gostivar and Drita.

The last signing is striker Brilant Sulaj (26) who comes from Gostivar. On many occasions he has proven his goalscoring abilities in the second league by playing for Gostivar and Vlazrimi 77. He has also played for Rufeja-M.

Teteks also started the winter preparations late. So far they played two friendly games. First they lost 4:1 to Makedonija GjP on Friday in Ohrid, while on Sunday beat Ljuboten 2:0 in Tetovo. On Wednesday they will test Gench Kalemler Sport in Tetovo, a newly created club that is topping the 3.MFL West.

Currently lying 8th in the 2.MFL West, Teteks will be fighting to avoid a first time relegation to the third leagues. Right in the first second half-season round they face promotion candidates Struga.
