Macedonian internationals performances

Arijan Ademi scored a brace, goals for Leonard Zhuta and Denis Mahmudov, Ilija Nestorovski won and converted a penalty, Adis Jahovic won a penalty, Antonio Stankov assisted, while Damjan Shishkovski debuted.

Albania, Kategoria Superiore, Skënderbeu – Flamurtari 1:0
Muarem Muarem finally made his debut for Flamurtari and opened in central attacking midfield. His teammates Goran Siljanovski and Artim Polozhani began in defense, while Fisnik Zuka and Muhamed Useini were brought in defensive midfield. Thus, all five players from Macedonia made the start. Unfortunately, their team lost the top game at Skënderbeu through a late goal conceded in the 84th minute.

Albania, Kategoria Superiore, Kukësi – Kamza 0:1
Demir Imeri started in attack for Kamza as his team collected a narrow win away to Kukësi.

Albania, Kategoria Superiore, Partizani – Laçi 0:0
Egzon Belica made the start for Partizani and was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet, while his teammate Emran Ramadani was introduced in the 57th minute. Meanwhile, Alban Sulejmani didn’t play for the hosts.

Albania, Kategoria Superiore, Teuta – Luftëtari 2:3
Bojan Gjorgievski and Burhan Mustafov made the start for Teuta as their team lost at home against Luftëtari.

Sedat Berisha started in central defense for Vllaznia and was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet.

Azerbaijan, Premyer Liqasi, Zira – Sumgayit 1:1
Yani Urdinov lately moved to Azerbaijan. The defender directly made the start for Zira and played all minutes in the draw against Sumgayit.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League, Charleroi – Lokeren 1:1
Gjoko Zajkov was an unused substitute for Charleroi.

Belgium, Proximus League, Lierse – OH Leuven 0:1
Jovan Kostovski was part of the visitors matchday squad, but didn’t play.

Croatia, Hrvatski Telekom Prva Liga, Osijek – Dinamo 2:4
Muzafer Ejupi started at centre-forward for Osijek and played 66 minutes, while captain Arijan Ademi opened in defensive midfield for Dinamo and played the entire game. Arijan completed a brace thanks to to goals in the 38th and 68th minute.

Both Macedonians, Mirko Ivanovski and Tome Kitanovski, made the start for Slaven. Tome began at right-back and helped his team to keep a clean sheet, while Mirko started in attack and played nearly the entire game as he was replaced in he first minute of stoppage time.

Croatia, Hrvatski Telekom Prva Liga, Lokomotiva – Rudeš 2:2
Samir Fazli opened in attack for the visitors and played the whole game.

Armend Dalipi wasn’t called up by Cibalia.

Croatia, Hrvatski Telekom Prva Liga, Rijeka – Istra 1961 4:0
Leonard Zhuta opened at left-back for Rijeka and was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet. His team demolished visitors Istra and Zhuta even scored his teams last goal in the 89th minute. It was his first goal for Rijeka and a beauty from a free-kick. Before that in the 63rd minute Zhuta nearly netted a header. Leonard’s teammate Milan Ristovski didn’t make the matchday squad.

Daniel Mojsov played the whole match for the visiting side, while Ivan Trichkovski was substituted by midfielder Nacho Cases in the 87th minute. The home side would later scored both goals in the injury time to deny the Macedonian duo a point.

Davor Zdravkovski wasn’t summoned by AEL.

Edin Nuredinoski was between the posts for the visiting side, while his teammate Vlatko Drobarov started and played until 69th minute when he was taken off for Stephane Aziz Ki.

Aleksandar Damchevski played the whole match for the winning side.

Cyprus, Protáthlima Cyta, Ethnikos – Doxa 0:4
Martin Bogatinov was not between the posts for the home side. Ethnikos are going through some tough times at the moment as they have been suspected for match-fixing. The game in question was played on 31st of January. Ethnikos are already relegated and Bogatinov will be looking for a new team as the club will focus on youngsters.

England, Championship, Sheffield United – Leeds United 2:1
Ezgjan Alioski played 75 minutes for the visiting side. Leeds are in a real slump of form as they haven’t won in the past 8 games and have slipped down to 11th position. Alioski had couple of opportunities during the game including a speculative bicycle kick in the first half but his attempts failed to test the keeper.

Finland, Suomen Cup, Lahti – JJK 4:2
Damjan Shishkovski made the debut for Lahti and played the whole match. Despite conceding twice, he had some good saves during the game.

Mite Cikarski remained on the bench for the winning side.

Iran, Persian Gulf Pro League, Esteghlal – Sepidrood 3:0
Bojan Najdenov was on the bench and did not get a chance to make his debut for Esteghlal.

Israel, Ligat Winner, Hapoel Ra’anana – Hapoel Haifa 1:1
Risto Mitrevski played the whole game for the visitors and picked up a yellow card in the 58th minute.

Italy, Serie A, Chievo – Genoa 0:1
Goran Pandev played the whole game for Genoa who recorded the second consecutive win thanks to a goal scored in the stoppage time. He had a goal disallowed for offside in the first half which was the right call as he was barely offside when his teammate passed him the ball. In the 86th minute he showed great skill to create a big chance, but Stefano Sorrentino made a huge save.

Italy, Serie B, Palermo – Foggia 1:2
Ilija Nestorovski played the whole game and scored from a penalty kick in the 65th minute bringing Palermo the lead. It was his 11th goal in Serie B. It was Ile the one who won the penalty after his shot hit the handhof a visiting player. Just four minutes later one of his teammates got a red card and Foggia used the player advantage to make a total come back. In the 88th minute Nestorovski was denied the equalizer as he hit the crossbar with a header. Aleksandar Trajkovski remained on the bench. With this home defeat Palermo dropped to third place.

Nikola Gjorgjev was left out of Twente’s squad.

Netherlands, Eerste Divisie, Dordrecht – Helmond 3:2
Both Denis Mahmudov and Antonio Stankov played the whole match for Dordrecht and had an important role in the 3:2 win over Helmond. Mahmudov scored the first goal for his team in the 24th minute, while Stankov assisted for the second goal in the 57th minute.

Poland, Lotto Ekstraklasa, Zagłębie – Legia 2:3
Aleksandar Todorovski was unused substitute on the match against Legia.

Portugal, Liga NOS, Sporting – Feirense 2:0
Stefan Ristovski wasn’t part of Sporting’s squad for this match.

Romania, Liga I Betano, Universitatea Craiova – Sepsi 1:0
Milovan Petrovikj played the whole match for Sepsi and earned a yellow card in the second half, while injured Marko Simonovski wasn’t part of the away team.

Spain, Primera División, Valencia – Levante 3:1
Enis Bardhi entered the field for Levante at 72th minute replacing Ivory Coast international Cheick Doukouré. He later received a yellow card in the 84th minute.

Spain, Segunda División, Albacete – Gimnàstic 0:1
Stole Dimitrievski was Nàstic’s starting goalkeeper and kept a clean sheet in their important away win.

Mario Gjurovski played whole game for the visitors.

Turkey, Süper Lig, Alanyaspor – Konyaspor 1:2
Adis Jahovic spent all minutes on the field for Konyaspor. In the 20th minute he won a penalty kick as was brought down in the box by home keeper Rémy Riou. He did not take the shot as Samuel Eto’o stepped in and scored.

Turkey, Süper Lig, İstanbul Başakşehir – Fenerbahçe 0:2
Elif Elmas watched the game from the visiting bench. He picked up a back injury during a cup game on Wednesday so manager Aykut Kocaman didn’t want to take any risks.
